Pure silence…aching feet that are made of lead supported by earth’s gravity…your head has been invaded by microscopic violins and are playing the highest of notes…someone ninja assaulted you without you noticing and poured cinnamon powder into your eyes. It should be wrong…all wrong…but you’re so happy your lungs needs no Oxygen to keep them pumped, you’ve been up and jamming for the past 9 hours and continuous nano second bursts of memory are flooding your whole nervous system till your fingertips twitch and your skin prickles. You smile…but its that sideways smile where it’s mostly accomplished by your eyes. You know what you’ve just experienced will be hardwired into your grey matter for life…

I know….it’s that track your mind has been waiting for all this time…….First you’re like..whoa…then the multibassical kick busts in and youre on the floor…then the bleepytweetiness kicks in and you’re twitching on the floor like an eel on speed!

The crux of the matter is, it doesnt matter how many wise quotes by ye olden men in white robes your read and rub your chin at in a wise way like  pai mei or how many pesky Brotips you read on a daily basis to say…yeah YEAH…I’m original and cool…that fucking 9-5 is gonna break your spine one vertebrae at a time. I mean, it might seem like I’m making judgments one pople that work their ass off week in week out to like…save up to ikea the shit out of their homes or save up to buy those flaming dragon scale power gloves to fight the mutated ice rats that live in the basment of your home and continously raid your stash of cheerios…but seriously..this shit is numbing! I don’t mind slugging it out 5 days a week, the problem is if your brain matter moves at 1.5x the pace…then your get bored…seriously….after sorting out my section for like…3 hours on my first day at work, eyes glazed over and that bunch of Autumn leaves outside became my new god to worship and hopefully  allow me to wreck it by painting under my eyes in black, shouting out my carfully versed warcry and lunging at it Rambo style….I owed it nothing dammnit….I can lunge at it if I wanted alright…

..Then it got swept away by that fucking motorized broom…

Remember, remember, the sweepers Novemeber.

On a more serious note, I just want to do more on my time off after work but there is none! I know,I know, whining about this, man up and do that, there are others working 60 hour weeks, 3 jobs and a Dojo to take care off on the side, to pay off for shit…but let me ask you this, do you really  need to work 60 hours a week to pay off for debt you had no choice to accumulate to begin with? I dunno, I’ve read and researched a lot of this and I’m stuck in that same loop. How to get out? Still figuring it out. I wish I could like..inject people with truth serum and ask them what/how they really felt about working so much and doing so little personally.

What do you think? What do you truly want, and how do you think you can achieve that?

Knock, knock

Wher do you cross the line? The picture before this one was at a different angle and had someone staring straight through me. If I didn’t have my earphones in I don’t think I would have taken two shots then walk away. I wasn’t even in the mood, or planning to take pictures that day, walking home with aching feet, I saw this and before I knew it, camera was out of bag and I took two shots and walked away. Immediatly, Two things came to mind,  why didn’t ask if they were ok?, and second was an event that I saw last week that pretty much made me shit bricks of disdain towards humanity.

The first question made me think long and hard about why I did this street lark, part of me said, yeah it’s ok, it’a part of what I do, our humanity, and feeling sorrow is one of the basic principles of being human, and is extensivly documented, just as I’m doing now. The other part just couldn’t stop thinking abou exploitation for my own purposes. I guess I didn’t have anything sad to feel so this really touched me in a way. Moral dilemmas aside, this rare showcase of emotion amid the seemingly indiffrent hoards of city dwellers made me think of an event I saw on the tube last week.

Coming back from work, the tube was packed as usual, looking at everyones expression of near dismay, It made me sad to see pretty much everyone looking downtrodden. I won’t go into this subject except people need to cheer the fuck up a bit. Anyway, the point that really really go to me was as the train started to empty, I noticed this girl in the other carriage sitting and leaning down…hard. She was having an asthma attack, and It seemed like her inhaler was doing nothing to help. All the seats next to her were occupied, and not a single person asked, let alone tried to help her or show her any attention. It broke my heart.  At the next stop, the train flooded with people, and I pushed to the window to see what the fuck was going on. She had barely been able to get off…and she was on the verge of collapse, as people kept streaming past her, oblivious to her troubles. I was disgusted, with both myself, and more so with those sitting next to her, why did no one do anything, are we so indiffrent to others emotions that we dont give two shits about someone who’s visibly in duress.

I’m not saying everyone is a mean bastard, but it’s kinda hitting me these days, where I work, which involves dealing with people, theres a missing sense of humanity, unless you push it, no one talks to each other of mingles, It’s just go in, buy that fucking thing that you’ve desperately want but don’t reaaaally need, then bugger off again. It just feels a bit artificial.

Comfortable lifestyle, present, sense of security, present, giving two shits about the person next to you. Near non existent.

Ahhh, Grump LeHump!!! you see above? You see that tiny humanoid trapizing along with the giant humanoid? He was probably the happiest creature within a 3mile radius!  I mean, I know it’s monday, which also means it’s godzilla feeding day, and we all know how we feel about that, …the bastard has no manners, but that don’t mean you have to walk around with the expression of a 12 year old  male teenager that just got told Call of Duty 3 will now be a simulator where puppies have tea time with unicorns on a rainbow while shitting out magical candyfloss fairy dust! The mood was HOSTILE! It was easier taking pictures while giant balding dudes with an excessive amount of tribal tattoos flicked their middle finger at your face at hyper speeds (It means fuck off right?)

Anyway, apart from the Grumpalot roadming the streets today (see what I did there……ahem), I realised the suited and booted of London are the easiest people to shoot. Forget retaliation or an expression of pure rage, they just stand there and take it! Maybe it’s the long stressful working hours, but I like to think it’s the gangsta hat, death stare and loud bassical music blasting out of my head that makes people quake in the boooootses!
